Arlen Lopiccalo: The odds of being murdered are extremely low. Much better odds that the new owner fails to properly transfer the title. Then they rob a bank, or sell drugs, etc. in what the police think is your car. They also come around when its for sale and waste you whole day test driving and taking it to a mechanic, etc. etc. and then offer you half what you want or just decide they don't want it. Consignment is no good. They sell the car cheap and take a big percentage as fee. They have no risk and no incentive to sell for a good price. Best option is to just sell it to a dealer. Go to CarMax and they will give you a free quote. Then go to a couple of other used car dealers in the area and sell to who ever gives the most....Show more
Brittanie Zakutney: how about having multiple people around and not freaking outif you are getting a new vehicle trade in is the easiest way to get some value from the old car
