Esmeralda Pigram: I am in a rural area outside the city I used to live in -- the rural co-op preschool, in CDN$"2 or 3 mornings a week; 9:00am â" 11:30amMon/Wed OR Tues/Thurs $95 monthly Mon/Wed/Fri OR Tues/Thurs/Fri $140 monthly"...quite reasonable. But here's a preschool near where I used to live in the city:"Preschool(Casa) Half Day (8:45 - 11:45) ~ $8,935Preschool(Casa) Full Day (9:00 - 3:30) ~ $11,200Preschool(Casa) Extended Day (8:30 - 5:30) ~ $13,840"...quite costly for city families. The program I went to over thirty years ago still exists, a city-run thing, and 11 weeks there = $99.50....Show more
Michelle Sohre: The cheapest I've come across is $7K a year (I could be mistaken, there are more preschools around here than I'd ever be able to research / look into). There are plenty of people here that pay well over $30K for their kid to go to preschool for one year. Good gravy, indeed.
Alden Soldano: My children go to (or have gone to) a church basement! cooperative preschool that we adore. It's small, but the teachers are phenomenal. Also, because it's a co-op, parents are expected to be in the classroom about 1-2 times a month and also help with fundraising. It costs about $1000 a year for a 2-, 3-, or 4-day a week program (depending on the child's age). We live just outside a major city, but our community feels more like a small town....Show more
Carolin Southers: It can run anywhere from $170 a month up to $800 a month, depending on the school you choose.
Cody Shimko: For 2.5 hours, 2 days per week it is $85 per month.
Fritz Hawkey: They do NOT offer public preschool where I live. I think it's ridiculous! So, you HAVE to send them to daycare or a church or private school if you want them to attend preschool. Ethan will go to our church(which is also a private school) in the fall. He will go 3 days a week for 3 hours each day. It is $155 a month.
Hollis Demasters: My LO's preschool is $1! 40 a month, it is a Christian school but it is cheaper than mo! st other schools in the area. (5 days a week 3 hrs a day)
Jed Mutone: A preschool, not daycare, around here is about $130/ month for three 2 1/2 hour days. The programs that are developed within a daycare setting like Goddard School are slightly more because they offer a slightly different environment for the kids.
Ronnie Barcus: THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS?! Good gravy.
Patricia Bolduc: $200/month for the local Christian School (plus uniforms/books).....that is the only private preschool there is in my area. Some daycares around here advertise preschool curriculum too, regular daycare rates apply.
Jonathon Labonne: in my town, church basement preschool, 3 mornings a week (4-5 hour day), runs about $3k.it goes up a lot from there. something like waldorf or montessori preschools, on the same schedule, is in the 10k+ range.my kids' school, which i consider very nice and with a superb staff, falls somewhere in the middle....Show more
Walter Scordin! o: Most of the actual preschools around here are 2 days a week from 8-12 and are about $150 a week but those are only christian/catholic preschools. There are many daycare centers here though that do full-time preschool for children (meaning they have certified preschool teachers) over 3 and those are 7:30 - 5:30 monday - friday for about $150 a week these are the only preschools in the area that are not religious related. The actual daycares with no preschool are a little less....Show more
Vern Serratos: 3 days a week, 1/2 days = $360 a month
Serita Hefferon: Preschool runs about $925 dollars a month. They do offer public, but I don't know much info on that. We also have montessori school, which is private and runs 3k a month.
