Gladys Worthing: Go to Best Buy or another electronic store and ask them what you need. They will know.I believe it is two separate cords. One is an S-video to S-video and the other is for sound. Then when you have them connected you have to do something on your laptop for it to switch over and project what's on your laptop onto the tv. Lorelei Lilburn: Yes. How you do so depends on the ports available, both on the TV itself and the computer. There are too many permutations to go through here so post back with what input and output ports you have and someone may be able to help. The fact your TV is a Samsung does not narrow things down at all.
