Could I get into a performing arts High school with piano?

Jesse Japak: I actually have a friend who is in your exact situation. She is 14 and in 8th grade and her mom wants to apply to LACHSA, the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, for piano. Interesting. And to your question. It looks like your covered in the academic part of applying.. I'm sure the audition board would love to know that you can play a song just after listening to it! Share that with them. Just don't stress or worry about the audition. Practice every day though, don't slack on that. Remember, Just have fun with the audition! Wow them!
